Susan Birnie has been an integral part of the Ontario chapter of Girl Guides of Canada for more than 30 years. As a Unit Guider, she mentored countless girls over the course of 15 years. She then held a number of executive positions on the chapter's board of directors, overseeing a period of great prosperity within the organization.
