Matthew Smart has led teams in Relay for Life, and organized his school's Tree Lighting Ceremony in support of the Dominican Republic Orphanage Project, the Shepherds of Good Hope, and SchoolBOX. He also organizes the Best Buddies program, where he works with high needs students, and has travelled to Nicaragua to help build schools.
