Kent Scales has been a member of the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada, Prince Edward Island Chapter advisory board since 2008. Currently its vice-chair, he is also chair of the More Wishes More Wonders campaign and co-chair of the annual Exile Island fundraiser. He is also involved in other volunteer endeavours in his community.
