Hally Schmaltz began volunteering at a young age. She was a high school peer-tutor,
co-chair of the Baby Food Drive and a team member of the Canadian Red Cross Fort McMurray wildfire relief funds. She has also volunteered at the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia, and St. Vincent De Paul and Salvation Army thrift stores.
