For 27 years, Michael La Combe has been a youth leader with the Royal Canadian Air Cadets 540 Golden Hawks Squadron in Oakville, Ontario, where he has influenced the lives of thousands of youth in the cadet community. He has contributed to the expansion of the local cadet program, which has grown from 50 to 250 members in the past six years.
