Wally Patterson has contributed to the community for over 25 years with the Royal Canadian Legion, he shares the history of both world wars, is involved in Poppy Campaigns and performs Remembrance Day services at long-term care and retirement homes. He has also volunteered with the M2 Prison Visitation Program, the John Howard Society of Alberta and the Calgary Zoo, and as a “white hatter” with the Calgary International Airport.
