Janice Howe has coached the Navvies Track and Field program with Special Olympics Manitoba since 2009, in addition to serving as secretary of the Winnipeg Regional Leadership team and supporting the athletes through fundraising initiatives. She coaches her athletes based on the notion that a healthy and active lifestyle is beneficial not only physically, but also emotionally and socially, and helps them reach their fullest potential along the way.
