Since joining Special Olympics Thunder Bay over 25 years ago, Gary Renner has helped to expand the organization's volunteer base by tapping into community resources like Lakehead University and Confederation College, as well as by coaching both five-pin bowling and swimming. By creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere, he has enriched athletes' lives through sport and has helped them reach new heights in their performance and abilities.
