When Linda Christensen founded the Leduc, Alberta chapter of Special Olympics Canada 25 years ago, she began transforming lives and attitudes as a manager, coach and coordinator of the basketball, softball and bowling programs. Her dedication and involvement over the years have translated into many opportunities for athletes and has created a more closely-knit community.
