Ken Ivey was involved with Communities in Bloom for 17 years, during which time he served as the provincial co-chair. He conducted public outreach, fundraising initiatives and stakeholder relations, in addition to working on several projects to improve streetscapes and create green spaces. Under his direction, 57 Manitoba communities have joined the Communities in Bloom program and civic pride has been extended throughout the province as a result.
