Since 2001, veteran John Atkin has assisted others through the Commissionaires organization. From helping veterans find work to raising awareness and recognition of their post-military careers, he has been active with the Commissionaires Advisory Committee, the Duke of Edinburgh Award program, and the Commissionaires Great Lakes Ceremonial Marching Unit.
