Over the past 15 years, Lynda Kowalyk has been involved with the Sacred Heart Parish Women's League and Communities in Bloom (CiB). Working with numerous stakeholders, she helped establish the Avena Gardens historical park and facilitates the ongoing improvement of the area's green spaces. Her efforts have brought provincial recognition to CiB's projects, expanded Ituna's environmental stewardship and reinvigorated civic pride.
