In addition to volunteering with the Sacred Heart Parish Women's League and the Ituna and District Regional Park for more than 20 years, Carol Korchinski helped launch the Ituna Communities in Bloom program. She worked on the Avena Gardens heritage park and the Ituna Community Fruit Orchard, thereby strengthening civic pride, environmental awareness and the preservation of the town's heritage and culture.
