For over 15 years, Jim White has volunteered with the Grasslands Conservation Council of British Columbia. Working alongside First Nations, government departments and other stakeholders, he has ensured the protection of an additional 1 397 hectares at the Dewdrop-Rosseau Creek Wildlife Management Area. He has been instrumental in bringing awareness to the issue of grassland preservation.
