Kate Gorchakov feels very strongly about saving and protecting the rainforest, and has been actively fundraising since she was in Grade 2, selling lemonade to support this cause. She is truly committed to raising awareness of deforestation and, through school events, she has been able to raise funds to protect rainforests in Peru, Brazil and Argentina. She offers pet-sitting and walking services in her neighbourhood, and donates the money to environmental causes.
