For her efforts to solve world hunger by collecting and distributing non-perishable items at the Oakville Fair Share Food Bank, and by preparing and serving meals her synagogue provides to 90 families at Kerr Street Ministries. Through the African Library Project, and with the support of her rabbi and her school principal, she collected enough books to build libraries in four elementary schools in Malawi.
