Dawn Blain's caring spirit has touched the lives of many over her 26 years of volunteering at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Auxiliary. As the director of the lobby desk volunteers, she has scheduled and trained volunteers to work at this central station that is open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. A desk volunteer herself, she has also offered support to families of critical care patients. She is known for her dedication to helping others in their time of need.
