    Edward Sawdon has been a long-time advocate for people living with mental and physical health issues. He has volunteered with the Independent Living Resource Centre, the St. John's Ostomy Chapter, the Coalition of Persons with Disabilities, the Canadian Mental Health Association, and the Pottle Centre, a local not-for-profit organization that provides a social and recreational environment for adults requiring mental health services.
