Mrs. Rosemarie Block, West Vancouver
Since 1960, Rosemary Block has dedicated her life to serving others. She helped several organizations and causes in her community, particularly the Royal Canadian Legion's New Chelsea Society, which provides low-income housing opportunities for veterans and seniors. She has mastered many traditional arts, and is dedicated to establishing an organization to preserve and protect traditional arts and crafts that are in danger of being lost. She also teaches painting to youth on a pro-bono basis.
