A man known for his compassion and generosity, Andrew Block has worked diligently for over 30 years to assist people in need, and to promote harmony and inter-cultural understanding in his community. As a young man, he volunteered many nights with the Salvation Army, helping to improve the lives of men struggling with addiction. He has assisted in creating numerous employment services within multicultural communities, and has also supported many programs for young children, including recreational activities and intervention services for youth at risk. A devoted Rotarian and long time member of the local Boys and Girls Club, his extraordinary work has made a difference in the lives of many young people.
