For more than 40 years, Carmelle Lizotte-Bérubé has worked for the Association coopérative féminine du Québec. Her hard work, steadfast support and love for others have enabled women from rural areas, often homemakers, to further their education and expand their knowledge, thereby improving their economic situation. In this way, she has helped not only the women of Quebec but also, as President of the International Cooperation Service, the people of Haiti, Peru and the Dominican Republic, among others, by promoting the sale of their handcrafted goods in Quebec. Ms. Lizotte-Bérubé strives to offer everyone the promise of a better future.
