Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Thérèse Rochon has been working for the St. Vincent de Paul Society since 1954. As a volunteer for the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Conference, she took children shopping for clothes and shoes. Later, as president of the St-Raymond Conference, she continued her visits to underprivileged people and started the Action de Grâce food drive. She also served at the Maison d'accueil Mutchmore and was a board member for numerous charitable institutions. With her boundless dedication, she is always ready to drive people to appointments and support the less fortunate members of her community.
