Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Guy Sexton has done a tremendous amount of work for the small community of Saint-Jules, most often on a voluntary basis. A church elder, who has organized church fundraisers and helped maintain the building, he also cares for the two graveyards and is responsible for the upkeep of the town hall, frequently at his own expense. He is also active with groups such as Meals-on-Wheels and the Mutual Aid Society, and helps senior citizens with their home maintenance.
