A volunteer at Saint Justine's Hospital since 1993, Monique Scheffer already has nearly 1,000 hours of volunteer work to her credit. She provides a very unique service which greatly helps improve the quality of life for children with mental or physical disabilities. With her dog Guitare always at her side, she tells stories and sings to the children to entertain and comfort them.
