Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
For many years Lucille Dufault has given generously of her time to the seniors of her community. As a volunteer with the Club de l'Âge d'or, she would act as driver for the seniors of the Auclair residence so that they could attend dances in her parish of Saint-Édouard and the parish of Saint-Jean-Baptiste. Since 1988, Ms. Dufault has been a member and volunteer at the Centre d'Âge d'or Henri-Julien, where she organizes and hosts parties, dinners and excursions. She also offers dance classes and organizes card and bingo games. Ms. Dufault brings a lot of joy to the seniors of her community.
