Herman Emanuel Blake has worked on many fronts to alleviate hunger in his community. He collects items for the Foodpath food bank, and helps to sort and stock its shelves. He participates in the Out of the Cold Lunch Program at St. Paul's Anglican Church, providing food for the needy and the homeless, and has served as a driver for Meals on Wheels. He also transports eyeglasses collected through his Church to a store which makes them accessible to people who cannot afford them. Mr. Blake has given generously of his time to the Red Cross, and is always available to drive senior citizens to appointments and on errands.
