Greatly involved in seniors' organizations in the region, Robert Bédard founded the Charlesbourg home services co-operative and has twice been co-ordinator of the regional games of the Québec federation of seniors' associations. Mr. Bédard has also immersed himself in humanitarian activities such as the United Way and Héma-Québec, and has been involved in the Charlesbourg food co-operative for 15 years.
