Governor General's Caring Canadian Award

Vicky Nikolakakos has been an active volunteer within the Greek and larger community for more than twenty years. She has formed committees to visit prisons, hospitals and seniors' homes, and to provide various necessary services to those in need. As President for Women's Issues in the Hellenic Canadian Congress, she helped raise awareness of conjugal violence and the support that is available to its victims.
