Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Betty Cripps was a dedicated public health nurse who would work evenings, weekends and holidays, without pay, helping the persons with disabilities who were under her care. She also sold preserves and baked goods prepared at her own expense to create a fund to help clients obtain basic necessities. Mrs. Cripps continues to do volunteer work with the Rotary Club.
