Audrey M. Jessup, Hull, Que.
Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Audrey Jessup has volunteered for more than fifteen years with the school outreach program of the Friends of the National Art Gallery. She visits dozens of primary schools in Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec, encouraging an appreciation of the visual arts among elementary students. Mrs. Jessup has also chaired the fundraising committee for the Quebec Association for Independent Living since its inception in 1991.
