Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Dolly Johnson's life has been one of caring for others, including her husband and her mother-in-law. Since 1994, she has volunteered regularly at the Tuck Shop of the Lions Prairie Manor, where her husband was a resident before his death. She also continues to help with residents' outings and with the Christmas Tea and other special events. In addition, she accompanies residents to and from programs, or simply visits with them. Mrs. Johnson is always available to assist others when needed.
