Edna Léger, Moncton, New Brunswick
Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Since 1974, Edna Léger has been an active volunteer for several nonprofit organizations, including the Red Cross, the United Church Karing-Kitchen, and various seniors' organizations. Following her retirement, she has also made a remarkable volunteer contribution by devoting herself with distinction to the patients at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Regional Hospital.
