Shirley Arsenault established the New Minas Support Group for people living with chronic illnesses such as environmental sensitivities, chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia. She works tiressly to promote awareness of these illnesses by volunteering her time and energy in leading workshops, writing articles, giving television and radio interviews, and producing videos.
