Governor General's Caring Canadian Award

A former India Pavilion representative at the Mosaic festival of cultures, Ved Arora has been heavily active in Saskatchewan's East Indian community for many years. He has acted as a volunteer spokesperson for the community on issues related to multiculturalism and recently helped establish a Heritage Language Teachers' Certificate Program at the University of Regina. In addition, he has raised funds for the Canadian Cancer Society.
