Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Gilles Bolduc has worked as a volunteer for 50 years with almost 20 organizations. From selling tickets for LaSalle Pee-Wee Bantam tournaments to organizing blood donor campaigns, Mr. Bolduc does not hesitate to offer his time. Since becoming involved with the Knights of Columbus, he has been constantly organizing bingos, corn roasts and Christmas baskets for the most disadvantaged. A member of the Canadian Legion since 1960, he can be found selling wreaths and poppies every year. Whether as parish warden or member of the board of directors of the LaSalle General Hospital, Mr. Bolduc is fully involved in the well-being of his community.
