Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
For the past twenty years, Edna Beange has volunteered on committees and boards of numerous agencies, primarily those concerned with seniors and youth such as East Metro Youth Services, Community Care Services, the Canadian Mental Health Association, the Children's Aid Society and Meals on Wheels. Mrs. Beange has also devoted her time and services to a local community development council, the Toronto East General Hospital, the East York Symphony and her church.
