Gaby Bérubé Bouvrette has been working as a volunteer since the 1970s and has always displayed an excellent community spirit. She has collected funds for her parish and has helped organize celebrations at the church for children's sacraments. Over a six-year period she visited a blind octogenarian for the Little Brothers of the Poor. A worker at Les P'tits Bonheurs volunteer centre since 1988, Mrs. Bérubé Bouvrette has been in charge of home visits, telephone greeting and volunteers, and has been a member and chair of the board of directors.
