    Janine L'Hébreux Lortie, Lévis, Que. Governor General's Caring Canadian Award For nearly fifty years, Janine L'Hébreux Lortie has dedicated herself to charitable activities in her parish to help underprivileged residents. As leader of the Saint Vincent de Paul non-profit workshop in Notre-Dame de Lévis, she repaired linens and blankets and distributed them using her own vehicle. A person of great generosity and sensitivity, she willingly helped those in need by distributing food, clothing, furniture and other necessities at any time of the day or night. Mrs. L'Hébreux Lortie also volunteered with the Red Cross and at the Hôtel-Dieu Hospital in Lévis for a number of years.
