Katharine Harapniuk was active as a volunteer with St. John Ambulance for four decades, during which time she held many supervisory positions. She has since been involved with the St. John Fellowship, which helps former members in need, especially those who are hospitalized or in a nursing home, and holds fundraising activities. Mrs. Harapniuk is also active in her church and as a volunteer hospital worker.
