Governor General's Caring Canadian Award

Olive Simpson has spent fifty years serving her church and fellow citizens. She has been active in executive roles with numerous church programs and has long been involved with the Glebe Centre for seniors. She was a member of the committee responsible for the Centre being built and has been a member of the Auxiliary ever since, serving for six years as president. Mrs. Simpson operates the gift and variety shop and organizes events to raise funds to provide necessary items and services.
