Over the years, whenever and wherever his career would permit it, Louis Pantry has responded to many requests for help. He began his volunteer activities with the Scouting movement in the 1950s, and went on to help with minor hockey, youth with substance abuse problems, the United Way, the Rotary Club, the Anglican Church and St. John Ambulance. He has served as an organizer, committee member and fund-raiser, and currently visits seniors and people in the community who are ill or in need of assistance.
