    Adrienne Duguay-Méthot, Sept-Îles, Quebec (posthumous) Governor General's Caring Canadian Award For more than 16 years, Adrienne Duguay-Méthot volunteered as a hospital auxiliary worker at the Centre hospitalier régional de Sept-Îles. She led the board of directors for four years, worked in the Brin de joie boutique and made the rounds to patients with the food cart to deliver comfort food. She also accompanied patients on birthdays and outings organized by the auxiliary. Mrs. Duguay-Méthot also spent 10 years providing transportation for clients of the Sept-Îles Volunteer Centre. Her availability, patience and love for the patients attested to her great dedication to her community.
