Leo Durocher, Vankleek Hill, Ont.
Governor General's Caring Canadian Award
Leo Durocher has, for the past twenty years, lent his administrative and fundraising skills to many charitable and non-profit organizations in the community. He has served in executive capacities, often serving as chairman or president. He was a member of the founding committee for the local Meals on Wheels and he founded the first, and only, francophone horticultural society in Ontario. Mr. Durocher has also been long associated with the Vankleek Hill Nature Society and is currently President.
