Jean Marcel D'Aoust, a World War II veteran, has worked in the Liaison Centre at the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue Hospital for some 15 years. He helps fellow veterans with different levels of ability to integrate into the community, participate in a variety of activities and helps to feed them when necessary. Having faced illness several times, Mr. D'Aoust is involved in various support groups, including that of the Cancer Society, as a means of providing information to fellow veterans. His unwavering dedication has seen him contribute immensely to countless organizations for over 50 years. He undertakes all activities with one goal in mind: the happiness of others.
