Nicole Laurin, of Montréal, Quebec, provides reassurance to the elderly and vulnerable, as well as support and encouragement to young people. For the past 15 years, Ms. Laurin has been active at the Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal, where she has devoted countless hours with the pediatric psychiatry service. She also dedicates many hours to the Hôpital Notre-Dame, organizes an annual fundraising campaign for Opération Enfant Soleil, and is a member of the home support committee for Services Plus des Trois Pignons, a non-profit organization that shelters senior citizens. Ms. Laurin's tireless volunteerism is admired by all who know her.
