    Nicholas Brunet, Clarence-Rockland, Ontario Governor General's Caring Canadian Award A young man with integrity and dedication, Nicholas Brunet, of Clarence-Rockland, Ontario, is a role model for his fellow students. Mr. Brunet has selflessly spent his past three summers as a volunteer camp counsellor, ensuring the safety and well-being of a young disabled camper confined to a wheelchair. He is also very involved with his school and volunteers for a number of community initiatives such as the Terry Fox Run, the Snowsuit Fund for kids and the Rockland Food Drive. Distinguished by his maturity and sense of responsibility, Mr. Brunet continues to show his leadership in the community.
