Mae Forbes has spent a lifetime serving her fellow citizens in the town of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. She began her lifelong association with the South Shore Regional Hospital in 1938, volunteering in the vintage clothing store as a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary. Her efforts have helped to raise millions of dollars over the years, and have facilitated the purchase of new hospital equipment. A former Sunday school teacher, she is a highly regarded member of the United Church Women's group, and continues to work hard for the success of a variety of parish activities.
