Pierre Bourgeois has volunteered extensively for causes close to his heart. For over 10 years, he has participated in the weekly dinners of the Little Brothers of the Poor and has visited seniors in their homes. He has also been involved with the association Du Québec à Compostelle, which supports pilgrims on the Way of St. James. Since 1998, he has been an active volunteer at the PalliAmi Foundation. His humanity and his unconditional generosity have served him in good stead as a companion not only to many end-of-life patients, but also to their loved ones.
