For several years, Claudette Dumont has been volunteering her time to develop networks of non-motorized recreational trails and to promote these trails as a tourist attraction. In particular, she has spent over 15 years working to establish the Trans Canada Trail in Quebec. She is the president of the Corporation Sentier Rivière-du-Loup/Témiscouata.
