Douglas Kelly

An enthusiast of his town's history and heritage, Douglas Kelly was instrumental in the creation of the Stratford Heroes project. In the lead-up to Remembrance Day each year, posters featuring profiles of local veterans go up on bus shelters and across the town, commemorating area residents who served in the Canadian Armed Forces and the Merchant Marine. He has been a member of the town's heritage committee for several years, and has served as its chair since 2008.
